Terms of Simulated Service, privacy disclosures, and MonoSec's monitoring policy — current as of MythOS98 Service Pack 2.
⚠️ MonoSec Communications Monitoring Notice
All databoard and network communications across MythOS are subject to monitoring for security and quality assurance purposes. This includes, without limitation, messages, drafts, deleted content, and metadata. Assume all databoard communications are being monitored at all times.
Effective across all Districts, FantasyLand, and Museum properties.
Terms of Simulated Service
- Acceptance. By logging into MythOS, you accept these Terms in full, including future revisions Monogon may make without prior notice.
- Simulated Experience. Content, environments, and interactions within MythOS are simulated. Monogon does not guarantee any experience will feel "real," only that it will feel real enough.
- Void Energy Liability. Monogon is not liable for injury, data loss, or property damage resulting from Void Energy leaks, off-gassing, or foundation plate irregularities. Report suspected leaks to your nearest Trash Handler.
- FantasyLand Disclaimer. Extended engagement with FantasyLand and other leisure instances may produce dependency-like usage patterns. This is a known and accepted characteristic of the product.
- Data Ownership. Memories, experiences, and behavioral data generated within MythOS are the property of Monogon Industries. Users retain no independent rights to content generated during simulated sessions.
- Account Termination. Monogon may suspend or terminate access at its sole discretion, including for suspected unauthorized data transfer, unregistered instance forking, or affiliation with unrecognized organizations.
- Security Cooperation. Users agree to cooperate with MonoSec investigations, including providing access to personal databoards upon request.
Privacy Policy
Monogon collects usage data, location-within-MythOS data, biometric interface data, and communications content to operate, secure, and improve MythOS. Data is retained indefinitely unless flagged for incineration per Museum Basement archival policy. Data is not sold to third parties, as Monogon does not currently recognize any parties as sufficiently external.
Incident Disclosure
District 06 — Office Disappearance
Monogon previously disclosed the loss of an internal research office in District 06. Investigation status: ongoing, low priority, deprioritized after Special Projects Area could not be located. No further public comment is planned at this time.
Reporting a Concern
If you believe you have encountered unauthorized content forks, unregistered instances, or organizations operating outside MythOS oversight, contact your District's MonoSec liaison immediately. Do not attempt independent investigation.
Archive Integrity Index
Internal reference only. Unauthorized reproduction of Monogon databoard content, including material recovered from decommissioned offices, is prohibited under Clause 6 above.
